Grievance Policy

Sky Vision Academy is committed to providing a supportive and respectful learning environment for all students. We understand that concerns or grievances may arise from time to time, and we are dedicated to addressing them promptly and fairly. This Grievance Policy outlines the procedure for addressing and resolving grievances effectively.

  1. Definition of Grievance: A grievance refers to any complaint, concern, or dissatisfaction expressed by a student regarding any aspect of their educational experience at Sky Vision Academy, including but not limited to:

    • Academic matters
    • Faculty or staff conduct
    • Facilities or resources
    • Discrimination or harassment
    • Admission or enrollment issues
  2. Reporting Process: Students who wish to raise a grievance are encouraged to follow the steps outlined below: a. Informal Resolution: Students are encouraged to attempt to resolve the issue informally by discussing it with the relevant faculty or staff member, academic advisor, or department head. b. Formal Grievance: If the grievance remains unresolved after informal attempts, students may submit a formal written grievance to the Grievance Committee using the designated grievance form. The grievance should include a clear description of the issue, relevant details, and any supporting documentation.

  3. Grievance Committee: Sky Vision Academy will establish a Grievance Committee responsible for reviewing and addressing formal grievances. The committee will consist of impartial faculty and staff members appointed by the administration.

  4. Grievance Resolution: Upon receipt of a formal grievance, the Grievance Committee will conduct a thorough investigation to gather relevant information and evidence. The committee will then work to resolve the grievance in a fair and timely manner, keeping the student informed of the progress and outcome.

  5. Appeal Process: If a student is dissatisfied with the outcome of the grievance resolution, they may submit an appeal to the Grievance Committee within a specified timeframe. The appeal should include any new information or grounds for reconsideration.

  6. Confidentiality and Non-Retaliation: All grievances will be handled with strict confidentiality, and students will not face retaliation or adverse consequences for raising legitimate concerns. Sky Vision Academy prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals involved in the grievance process.

  7. Records Retention: Sky Vision Academy will maintain records of all grievances and their resolutions for a designated period in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
